Namibia with its combination of largely untouched vast country and relatively tiny population makes it the ultimate land of discovery and soul-searching. This is land of wide horizons, endless stretches of golden desert dunes, surreal rock formations and rocky plains. Namibia is the ideal country for your African Safari or vacation and in this tour we will highlight some of these superb features.

Namibian Discovery Tour South Africa B = Breakfast, L – Lunch, D = Dinner

Day 1: Sunday Windhoek - Etosha National Park
Depart Windhoek and head north via Okahandja, for a visit to a local market, to shop for wood carvings and curios. We arrive at our lodge late afternoon. (D)

Day 2: Monday Etosha National Park
Today we will spend a full day in this world-class game park, visiting a number of waterholes to observe the wildlife. Etosha, translated, means 'The place of dry water' and here we get our first view of the magnificent pan. (B, D)

Day 3: Tuesday Etosha National Park (Tue)
We travel along the vast salt-pan with stops at various waterholes and game viewing en route. After lunch we continue through the Park and on to our overnight stop. (B, D)

Day 4: Wednesday Etosha National Park - Damaraland
An early start to see the highlights of Damaraland - one of the last true wilderness areas in Africa. We head through Outjo, Khorixas, the capital of this region. We pass through scenic landscapes and Damara villages before we reach the Petrified Forest. We arrive at our lodge at lunch time. (B, D)

Day 5: Thursday Damaraland
We visit the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, the fascinating geological features such as the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain. Afternoon at leisure. (B, D)

Day 6: Friday Damaraland - Swakopmund
We continue via Henties Bay to the charming coastal resort of Swakopmund. Spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure, with options including a visit to the museum, the aquarium, the crystal gallery, or simply to just explore the town. (B)

Day 7: Saturday Swakopmund
Today is at leisure to explore further this charming town. Maybe indulge in a harbour cruise or do a Scenic flight, or perhaps one of the numerous adventure activities on offer. (B).

Day 8: Sunday Swakopmund - Sossusvlei
This morning we visit some of the regions natural wonders such as the ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis and the Moon Landscape before continuing to the edges of the Namib Desert and then proceed through the southern region of the Namib Naukluft Park, the Kuiseb Canyon, and the Gaub Pass before we reach our accommodation. (B, D)

Day 9: Monday Sossusvlei
We visit the spectacular dunes at Sossusvlei, reputedly the highest dunes in the world. Energetic guests may choose to climb to the top of the dunes, before returning to our lodge. (B, D).

Day 10: Tuesday Sossusvlei - Windhoek
This morning we have a leisurely start and drive through the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass (road conditions permitting) on to Windhoek. You arrive at your Windhoek city hotel at approximately 1500; alternatively you can be dropped off at the Windhoek International Airport by 1600. (B).

Tour Cancellation Policy:
You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing, which must be signed by the person that signed the Reservation Form. If you cancel on or before 45 days before the first day of the tour, we will retain your deposit to cover our costs. In addition, if the cancellation notification is received less than 45 days prior to the first day of the tour, additional cancellation charges shall be as follows:

Amount of Cancellation Charges: -
- 45-30 Days before the first day of the tour - 50%
- 29-15 Days before the first day of the tour 75%
- Less than 14 Days before arrival 100%*
(Cancellation conditions for Maldives may differ)

Changes By You:
If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you, plus an amendment fee of $50.00 per revision per booking. If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by us and our suppliers in attempting to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided to us in writing and are subject to any airline fees or penalties.

Passports and Visas:
All Passengers are responsible for securing proper documentation prior to joining the tour. Passports are required; in addition travelers are advised to check with local consulates for full details regarding Visa requirements. Please note securing a valid visa for entry is sole responsibility of the traveler.
